Above the rooftops in the golden light, beneath the moon and the fallen snow, he called me home. The power lines buzzed, the foundations crumbled around me, and the sanctuary blazed to life within.
It seems like we can spend a lifetime searching for a place to belong when so often, we hardly even belong to ourselves. This piece serves as a reminder to cease the disconnect that plagues so many of us, to go inward and explore the recesses of who we are.
