I know how to be still, when to ponder and lull, for my preservation holds me, and keeps me balanced and full.

Bear is a creature blessed with a great sense of self-preservation. They remind us that though it may feel impossible to take the time needed to care for ourselves, it is necessary for our ability to survive and thrive within the world. Bear reminds us that this gift of self-care is a strength, not a weakness for there is no badge of honor in wearing yourself so thin that you cannot properly function.

Size: Approximately 3 x 1.43 inches

Material: Watercolor and metal leaf in a glass and metal locket.

Care: These pieces can absolutely be worn and were made to be! of course like any glass locket, dropping them will likely result in damage. The art has a UV varnish over it but any contact with liquid should be avoided, as should opening the delicate hinge on the locket.

Please note that the actual locket is also a handmade item from another maker. Lovely flaws of the human hand such as slight textures or scuffs on the metal are ocassionaly present.
